After completing my role as Annie in Annie Get Your Gun, I started a new theatrical project: Bat Boy the Musical. It was a great show where I played two roles, Ruthie Taylor and Mayor Maggie.
This show was unique because it really gave me an opportunity to work on my acting more than my singing. I was forced to take on a "serious" character (meaning I was not the comedic relief like I usually am). My director ran the show as if we were working in New York. I really appreciated that kind of expectation, because it gets you used to what the real world is like. I am extremely thankful for this opportunity and I cannot wait until my next show!
