I had the distinct honor of bringing to life on of the most memorable characters on the musical stage. In December I was cast as Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun at the Art Centre Theatre. I was thrilled beyond belief to be cast as the leading lady. This was my very first lead role in all of my years involved with the theatre. Lets just say I have been bit by the theatre bug again and I am loving every minute of it.

FINALE! There's No Business Like Show Business |
After completing this show I have come to realize that my dream of making it to Broadway is no longer just a dream. It has transitioned into a goal. Something that I am committed to working on everyday to achieve. This goal, much like Miss Texas is one that requires dedication and skill. Luckily for me these two goals compliment each other, and working on one will only further prepare me for the other.
